Single Point Data

Property Table

Produce tables and charts with properties and grades of interest.
Select different table properties, including the non-numerical properties and the multi point data. View the results in a clear and comfortable format.
Download the Free Desktop Version (ZIP archive)

Numerical Search

Define a set of criteria of material properties as a search requirements.
Enter values for numerical properties to define minimum and/or maximum limits.
Save any set of query requirements - the search profile - for later use.

Sort List by Numerical Properties

In CAMPUS the grades are listed in alphabetical order. The list can be sorted (ascending or descending) according to any desired numerical property.

Compare Grades

Select different properties and compare all grades in the database or limit the numbers of grades by a search. Different possibilities for a direct comparison:

  • Property Table
  • Scatter Plot
  • Polar Chart

Graphical View of Single Point Data (Scatter Plot, Polar Chart)

The scatter plot provides an overview of the distribution of currently listed grades corresponding to any two selected numerical properties. The scatter plot displays the position of each grade in the x, y-diagram. The scatter plot shows the value ranges of the chosen properties of the listed grades and can be used for preselection.
Add a third property and view the Bubble Chart, based on the scatter plot view.

The polar chart allows graphical comparison of grades based on a number of properties. Comparison of up to five grades and seven properties.

Unit System

All numerical property data is stored in SI Units.
CAMPUS offers to convert the single point data and multi point data to US Units.

Print

Print the datasheet, the property table or parts of it for documentation.
Print a datasheet of one or more selected grade(s) with different options: full datasheet or individual configured datasheet.
Print a table with different options: grades in columns or rows, property names abbreviated or original, marked grades or entire list of grades, selected or all properties, etc.
Print single diagrams or copy the diagram into the clipboard for usage in external applications like MS Word.

View the printout before printing by using the preview function.

Multi Point Data (Diagrams)

Curve Points

View the curve points of a selected grade and curve type:

  • a list of the x-, y-curve points,
  • the corresponding z value (3rd parameter)
  • selected engineering values, like break or yield point and glass transition or crystallization temperature.

Print Curve Points

Print the curve points of a selected grade and curve type:

  • a list of the x-, y-curve points,
  • the corresponding z value (3rd parameter)
  • selected engineering values, like break or yield point and glass transition or crystallization temperature.

Curve Overlay

Use the curve overlay function to superimpose multi point curves of different grades that you would like to compare.
The curve overlay feature allows comparison of up to 10 marked grades.

Zooming Graphics

CAMPUS automatically scales the axes of the multi point data graphs. It is possible to specify both the minimum and the maximum limits for the x- and y-axes of the graph.

Interactive Graphics for LTHA Diagrams

For the diagram group LTHA (long term heat aging) an interactive diagram is available.
View input (raw data) and output diagram (thermal endurance graph) in one window.
A horizontal line in the input diagram intersects the different temperature curves. The values of the intersections are displayed in the output diagram. Drag the line with the mouse in the input diagram up or down, the output diagram will instantly display the changes.

The Arrhenius equation for the slope of the regression line and the temperature index for 20.000 hours, extrapolated from the existing values are shown in the diagram window.

General

VDA CAMPUS Datasheets

The VDA CAMPUS data sheet contains a list of material properties which are considered to be important for the material preselection, defined in cooperation with the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). Each property is marked for the relevance for the interior, motor compartment or exterior.

Standard Help

The numerical properties are measured according to ISO 10350.
Information about the corresponding test standards for the current property is available in any of the property pages, the data sheet, the search profile definition and the table definition.
